The research and development strategies of our suppliers focuses on the environmental compatibility and sustainability of various coating products for use in passive structural fire protection.
Our Green Product Line includes all fire protection products that are qualified as building materials for ecological construction. The Green Products thus meet the requirements of the “Approval principles for the health assessment of building products in interiors” (DIBt-Mitteilungen 10/2010) in Germany in conjunction with the NIK values of the Committee for the Health Assessment of Building Products (AgBB) and are therefore also recommended for Use in public buildings that must meet the strict criteria of the “Sustainable Building for Federal Buildings” rating system of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development in Germany.
The Green Products are emission-free and therefore classified in emission class A + and meet the requirements of LEED v4. The emission certificates according to ISO 16000 and according to the AgBB evaluation scheme give architects and planners ‘credit points’ for assessing the environmental standards of a building according to BREEAM and for certification by the DGNB system.
